Election follow-up -- Aiken SC Sheriff Mike Hunt gets 69%

Aiken County Sheriff Mike Hunt easily won re-election Tuesday night, along with state Sen. Nikki Setzler.

In the race for sheriff, Republican Hunt got 47,966 votes, 68.5 percent, while Democrat Henry “Hank” Sims polled 21,945 votes, 31.3 percent.
