Senior Trump adviser Boris Epshteyn on Tuesday dismissed a Womens March on Washington to protest the inauguration, and argued that an overwhelming number of female voters actually support the president-elect.
Organizers of the Womens March on Washington claim the event will bring thousands of women to protest Trumps inauguration and send a bold message to our new administration on their first day in office, and to the world that womens rights are human rights.
As you know, the relationship between the president-elect and many female voters was more than contentious during the election, CNN host Poppy Harlow reminded Epshteyn during a Tuesday interview. How will he address the protest? How will he handle that?
Epshteyn, however, said he refused to accept the premise that women opposed Trump.

(42,641 posts)and half of them are female, that means 12% of registered female voters supported Trump.
If Boris Epshteyn feels that 12% demonstrates overwhelming support he is delusional.
Or simply a liar.

(2,748 posts)Thanks but I've been here sincere fall of 2001. Until a couple months ago my name was WatchwhatISay based on Ari Fletcher's offensive remarks in the early part of the Bush administration, when he said that people should watch what they say.
I was equally offended by trumps recent remarks of course. So I decided to start a new name using that statement. I wasn't aware when I did it that I would lose my old name, but I had grown tired of it anyway. I have never posted that frequently, and only probably had about 3000 posts.

I know for an absolute fact that one (me) won't change her mind. I'm sure the "overwhelming number" of the marchers and other women who despise Dump will not end up supporting him.
Boris may "refuse to accept the premise" that women oppose, despise, and are sickened by the very idea of a Dump presidency. But we women are proud members of the reality-based community. Yet another example, as if we needed it, of male Dump supporters telling women what we do and do not like.

I'll be in DC since I live in the area, but it doesn't matter where you march. We'll show the world we are NOT and never will be supporting Dump.

(15,220 posts)I hope to make the march in Austin. Im not sure yet that I will be able. Whether or not I am able to march or not, I will NEVER change my mind about Trump. I can promise that. Never. I am not stupid enough to fall for his con game.
