i love your passion. please don't lose it.

they needed to answer to us in 2001 but al gore told possibly the only senator who was willing to go the distance not to. and she listened to him--and regretted her decision.

"I was asked by Al Gore not to do so. Frankly, looking back, I wished I would have. It was not about Al Gore. It was about the voters," she said.

she was the only senator in 2005 to do the right thing.
