1. And how come they didn't take into account the next eight years of Trumpian economic splendor
when they decided to shut down? Whatta bunch of losers.

3. Exactly right!
It is like heads I win, tails you lose. Trump takes credit for successes, which he has nothing to do with, and will blame Obama for any failures. Welcome to the next four years.

5. Went to one of the Kmarts that was are closing yesterday. They had prices
marked down 10-30% and they had every cash register operating for the first time in years.
Just wondering maybe if they would have kept more than one register open and had some customer service the last several years maybe they wouldn't be closing. I don't know how many times I have gone in the store to pick up one or two items and had to stand in line 5 or 10 minutes at the one register to pay for it. Many times I have just put the item back on the shelf and walked out empty handed. You get in line with 5 people in front of you and there is someone that has 25 items and it never fails there is a price check and you wait and wait. I hate to use them it eliminates jobs but I notice the stores where they have the self check kiosks you don't have those bottlenecks. I hate to see Kmart go I always went there and only went to Walmart as a last resort. Then there is Walmart the customer service is even worse there and somehow they are thriving. |

9. Are Americans willing to pay more money for Made in the USA goods?
That is the million dollar question.
Sure doesn't seem like we are. |

10. I think some would if they could, many would bank the savings.
I hope enough Americans start to realize that it would help them by doing it.

11. We've become accustomed to paying low prices
For goods made in China, Bangladesh, etc.
Walmart seems to be doing quite well using that model. Might be tough for Americans to pay significantly more money for those goods. |

6. The front page of our local Sunday paper is how our mall will survive
with our Macy's gone. If our Sears goes too it is doomed for sure! Lots of jobs lost in the Trump administration. Bet he doesn't own that, just the good stuff. He is such a joke!
Even the most ignorant and stupid will see through him if he stays in office 1-2 years before he is either impeached or removed for mental disability. |

8. Our mall has a Kmart on one end and Sears on the other and a Macy's in the middle.
So far just the Kmart is closing but they say Sears and Macy's is just hanging by a thread. Help us Donald!

13. A Sears near me rented out half its space
To an European store called Primark (which is like a larger H&M but it has a small home goods department). So far I'm impressed with Primark, but definitely a different audience than Sears (younger). Every time I've been there, the parking lot is packed for Primark (never was for Sears).

I'm curious to see what they have to say from a conservative perspective.

16. In our mall kmart is closing.
There is a Sears on the opposite end with several empty rooms why not move Kmart pharmacy there?
I ask the drugest today she said that would be the obvious thing to do but they would rather put everyone out of work. |

19. Yeah, and what's this crap about the US having to front the money for his Great Wall?
I mean, he SAID that Mexico was going to pay for it, right? So why hasn't Mr. Super-Duper Dealmaker already gotten a signed, sealed commitment from them?
C'mon, hotshot. Show us what ya got. |
