I've seen several RW people today saying that Meryl Streep doesn't defend the disabled because she wasn't talking about the four teens in Chicago, so I know that these talking points must have gone out. Not that the comparison is the least bit apt. Nobody is defending the people in Chicago, who have been caught and are now locked up, without bail, last I heard. But plenty of people "defended" Trump's remarks, to the point of ignoring them and voting for the man.
