just a distraction. McConnell and Ryan are in to deep to let this get away. This is going down no matter what. Reconciliation is McConnell's tool and this will happen in the middle of the night.

3. Not. A few republicans are negotiating for goodies.

They simply cannot let Obamacare continue, certainly not under that name.

Likely they will repeal and replace it with nearly the same thing and claim it's completely different.

The biggest difference will be that the taxes will be far more regresssive. The surtax on payroll income over $200k and investment income will go away to loud fanfare and a different tax that affects ordinary people will but quietly snuck in.

Even the mandate will stay, but they'll call it something else, like the "option" and claim it's completely not the same thing.
