What will Trump say? "Because I told the truth about the Intel community, this is their revenge."

Has Trump been setting up a narrative for weeks by discrediting the intelligence community so that he could claim their revelations about him are the result of revenge?

Let's wait and see.

It is the revenge of the Intelligence Community, yes.

And no, it's because Trump came out and said he was going to fire a lot of career people.

They've kept files and dossiers on Trump since the early Eighties and they are updated regularly.

If Trump had cooperated with them, we wouldn't be talking about prostitutes, Russia, and golden showers.

By all accounts this material has been around for awhile.

Therefore Trump knew it as gong to come out sooner or later.

So he dissed C.I.A., N.S.A, et al. so that when the material did come out, as it did yesterday, he could claim it's all revenge and that there's nothing to it.

(It will be interesting to see how he'll handle it at the press conference today.)
