One of Chuck Todd‘s big takeaways from President-elect Donald Trump‘s press conference today was just “how normal a circus is now to us.”

“This was a circus,” he said on MSNBC earlier this afternoon. “We’ve never seen a president-elect, a transition, like we saw today.”

Todd described it as the apparent normalization of a “crazy scene,” but a scene that worked well in Trump’s favor.

He noted how it’s environments like this wherein Trump can thrive and make the press look “disjointed,” and so he should want to hold pressers more often.
