Investigations will show treasonable action not only by Trump staff but also the RNC. The party will be completely demoralized and in shambles.

The democrats will give Trump the choice of impeachment or resignation. If he resigns terms will be: Pence will become POTUS, all Trump's cabinet nominees will resign, democrats will chose new nominees.

UNFORTUNATELY just about EVERY REPUBLICAN SENATOR is far more loyal to party and ideology than they are to Country. That also includes most of the Republican Representatives in the House.

Under what scenario would the Democrats have the leverage to make such a demand? If Trump resigns, Pence is President. If they both resign Ryan is President. What are the Democrats going to do -- refuse to allow them to resign?

5. The healthcare industry is going to be hit hard

Lots of folks laid off at big pharma, hospitals, clinics, nursing homes because the ACA will be abolished and medicare damaged. Insurance companies will lose all that ACA revenue and raise prices. The safety net will be greatly reduced. Women no longer get free/cheap birth control. Access to abortion and family planning clinics reduced.

The deficit will go up greatly.

There's going to be a whole lot of pissed off people.

6. Yeah, I guess it's just a flight of fantasy but I thought that enough Republicans would want to get

rid of him to vote for impeachment. And the Republicans would rather have Trump resign than go through an impeachment trial.

We should instead, be putting our energies into figuring out how to survive the coming shit storm. Trump's not going anywhere and there is no one in either party who is going to rescue us. Democrats do not have the power and Republicans do not have the will.
