New A.K.A. KRATOM Petition - A Bipartisan Effort

New A.K.A. KRATOM Petition - A Bipartisan Effort

Yes, I know, I know, it's addressed to Trump. But right now it's all we've got.

Please sign and share.

We have about a week to gather the number of signatures needed.

This is a Bipartisan issue to keep Kratom legal.

We need to progress into the future, we cannot go back to failed Drug Wars of old
against harmless naturally growing plants and trees.

PLEASE sign and share!

The GOP Congress and/or the military would take him down so quickly your head would spin!

1. THEY would be the heroes who "Saved Democracy."

2. The GOP and their corporate master's only care about one thing: MONEY!

Do you know what would happen to the world economy if he tried?

I says almost nothing about what it IS and what it's good for.

The President of the United States cannot make any drug legal. That is not within presidential powers. So, the petition cannot do anything, really. Personally, I don't know anything about Kratom. I learned almost nothing from the petition, either, about it, except claims about what it DOESN'T do.

So, educate us. Explain what the drug is used for and why it's superior to other drugs for those illnesses. Make a case FOR it. That's how you'll move forward on it. Saying it is "not as bad as" something else is a poor argument, I'm afraid.

that naturally grows in Indonesia. People in the US use it to wean themselves off of pharmaceutical opiates and street drugs, and for life enhancement overall. THAT is a good thing. And it's ALREADY LEGAL except for in a few backwards States.

To call it a drug is imo a bit ill informed, but I guess I understand for people who know nothing about it.

Here's a start on the road to educate yourself, from the American Kratom Association:

Most people do not, though. Petitions need to help people understand, or they're useless. My criticism is about the petition.

to put everything about Kratom on one page.

I think people know that everyone has a search engine on their computer

If you look at the A.K.A.'s website they explain what you are looking for.

Are you absolutely sure about that now?

Honestly, I don't understand why you're being so difficult, but at least it gets the thread bumped.

As I remember, almost all petitions I've ever seen do not have complete explanations in the body of the petition.

Now if a petition were written on paper, I could completely understand needing on explanation, however, we are on computers making for an easy search.

I search for things all the time on the computer. I don't expect everyone to explain everything to me in one sitting.

Just sayin'!

It does not have the risks or side effect profile that conventional opioids do. It's also the only option left for many people who are no longer able to get prescription opioids, apart from turning to the street.

It's also a safe and effective way for people to get themselves off of addictive substances without replacing them with equally or more addictive substances like methadone and suboxone.

I'm personally experimenting with different strains to try to find something that will help with my chronic, treatment resistant depression, and my severe chronic anxiety.

I guess I'll probably, reluctantly sign the petition, though I really don't want to do anything that implies that the Peetus has any legitimacy.

I'm discussing the petition's contents. It should explain why people want access to the drug. It didn't do that.

don't you know how to google? Everybody else does!

No offense but, you can't always expect everyone to do your work for you.

I answered you above, most of the answers you seek are searchable by google by typing in the American Kratom Association which is in the petition.

Come on, put some personal effort into it, it's not that difficult!

Sheesh!

supposed to work. all rights are supposed to be retained by the people, unless the government can show cause to deny that right. you have it entirely backwards, my friend.
