I'll be flying my flag for the last time on Monday.

In all my years as a citizen and homeowner, I never felt moved to fly the flag on holidays until the election of President Obama. I've been flying it for the past 8 years.

I'll probably never fly it again after Monday.

8. That's your flag not theirs

Don't give up the thing that is yours-- that is ours. Don't give it away to them. That is your flag. It stands for freedom, liberty, democracy, and justice for all. We're farther down that road than we were 200 years, 100 years, 50 -- even 10 years ago. We will get there.
