It's real precious to watch all the criticism of John Lewis' drop mic moment.

I hope more democrats do the same - If Trump can insult whoever he wants for no reason, Lewis can damn well criticize PEEOTUS for TOTALLY LEGITIMATE REASONS.

And the GOPee can stuff it, they stole a SCOTUS seat and have fueled partisanship and obstructionism for 8 years.

I've been working but would find that hard to believe. He's an icon to us. If so, let me at 'em!

8. I've always wondered about that. Was it just because he said he didn't see him?

Good grief, you're not going to remember everyone you saw all those years ago. Especially in all the hell Mr. Lewis was going through.

...fighting for equal rights for everyone. I heard him. He did a good job of casting doubt. But that's politics.
Just my opinion, no malice intended.

Someone asked him about Bernie's involvement in the civil rights movement and Lewis's response was that he had never seen him at any of those events. Then he followed up with the odd statement that "I met Hillary and Bill, I never met Bernie Sanders" which to many people sounded like he was saying that Hillary and Bill were there when they weren't.

It's no secret that John Lewis was 100% behind Hillary during the primaries and was attempting to minimize Bernie Sander's civil rights era activism.
