(3,690 posts)they thought she is pretty{she is}, and articulate. that isnt enough. She is out of her element.

(18 posts)How she's the perfect embodiment of the shill for the elite or something like that. Not to get personal, but she's married to some Citigroup exec (of course.) She got her start in the bowels of Goldman Sachs but I guess they thought she was pretty enough to make a good frontperson for their propaganda.

(64,023 posts)to get into. I don't discount here. She's not there to be brainy. Just pretty and very articulate, which she is...

(62,325 posts)'but what do they waaaant?' And OWS certainly ran with that obvious proof of the bias of the Corporate media. Not to mention her own bias, regarding Wall Street which she neglected to tell her audience. I will never see her again without remembering that massive failed attempt to present OWS from the POV of Wall Street, while pretending to be a 'journalist'.

(27,461 posts)seriously?
I think that includes cats left at home and people who forgot where they left their remote. Once you remove that margin of error, she may actually have zero viewers!

I like her for that (and her looks). Yes, I am like that.

(11,119 posts)poisonously painted toys from China a few Christmases ago. It was something to the effect of: "Well, do you wanna buy toys that are cheap or do you wanna buys toys that are safe?!?!?!?!"
How about toys that are both? You money-grubbing 8itch!

(449 posts)if you look as good as she does and still have that bad of ratings. Hmmm, maybe I'll turn her show on and just mute it so I don't have to listen to her. Actually, thats probably what the 89000 viewers did.

(2,600 posts)I think she's an idiot. This is the drivel she spouted off on Hardball a few years ago. Video at the link.
"A lot of people like to say, uh, scaremonger about China, right? A lot of politicians, and I know you talk about that issue all the time. I think people should be careful what they wish for on China. Ya know, if China were to revalue it's currency or China is to start making say, toys that don't have lead in them or food that isn't poisonous, their costs of production are going to go up and that means prices at Wal-Mart here in the United States are going to go up too. So, I would say China is our greatest friend right now, they're keeping prices low and they're keeping the prices for mortgages low, too."

(89,387 posts)Brooke Baldwin has filled in for Burnett's show a few times and she is a lot better and seems to have real interest in what she is convering.
move Burnett to Baldwin's earlier time and move Baldwin to primetime.

(20,899 posts).01%. Erin vowed to bring the viewers journalistic integrity, but that might be an impossible for task for a true-believer to deliver.

(18 posts)Well, Bwthor's edit has now been deleted too. It's this one guy who did it, Dreadstar - he's apparently been watching over her page since before this.
However, he can't delete the same thing 3 times in 24 hours without being blocked from editing. He's now done it twice, so if one more person hits the "undo" button on his latest hijack attempt, we may be in the clear. Thanks.
