I think I (and perhaps many others) have been going at Trump all wrong

Mocking his lack of intellect, his character, or behavior, will do nothing but create a bigger monster. He is not a political savant like Hillary who has wide depth of knowledge and experience which can be called upon in an instant. The truth of the matter is that Trump, like many politicians, only know what they are told by aides when it comes down to any area of policy that isn't a focal point for them.

I think one way to maybe make a change in Trump is to point out, every time he says something that isn't true, that whoever told him that information lied to him. And point him to the true information. This would be especially useful on twitter, since we know it is one area where he actually monitors what is being said to, and about, him.

This kind of person doesn't ever really take personal responsibility for what they say.
Saying "you lied" will NEVER reach him, but "they lied to you" might.
He might be more inclined to shift gears if he can point the blame on others. And it's actually the truth. Whoever has had his ear for the past few years has been steering him towards the worst of the worst conspiracy theories. He doesn't want to be disliked. Pointing out that others are making him look bad might make a difference.

Anyway, my .02 on the matter...

I wonder how many people tweet back to him and how many he reads. Has anybody seen any estimates about that?

2. The idiot still claimed President Obama was not a citizen even after the long form birth certificate

was released. Me thinks your theory is a tad bit mistaken. And don't get me started about his denial of the ENTIRE intelligence community's findings on Russia. This idiot uses lies as currency.

5. I know. He gained cred with all the reprobates that voted for him with that claim

but someone still fed him that information. I don't think he has the intellectual curiosity to have come across it on his own.

He's a mixed bag of someone who believes some of the lies to be truth, and knows that others are not. He KNEW Hillary wasn't corrupt, which is why he started backpedaling immediately about prosecution after he won. He also pretty quickly stated that Obama WAS born here. So those lies he cleared up quickly (though he's mad at Hillary again because he thinks she was behind pee-peegate.) Right now, to me anyway, it all seems like a game to him.

He's a complete and total narcissist. As far as he's concerned he's the center of the Universe, and the only real person. To him all of the rest of us are puppets that don't matter.

Tweet him misinformation and more lies that he can latch on to and spread that will make him look and sound even sillier.

I'm always going to side with pushing the truth, but I do understand the anger and the desire to have him humiliated.

He has been ruthless, and balancing the scales will always feel right for many people. He's going to be the POTUS, so I prefer he either succeeds and moves us forward, or gets the hell out. I'd rather focus his paranoia on purging people who lie to him rather than having him gut programs because of lies.

point out overtime she lies also. He depends heavily on the masses accepting what she says to the MSM who seldom check her misinformation. I don't have twitter but a nice hashtag would be #nottruekellyanne.
