Fireworks At Donald Trump Pre-Inauguration Event Seemed To Spell Out 'USR'

Last edited Fri Jan 20, 2017, 12:14 AM - Edit history (1)

Wait, did that just happen?

During a fireworks show marking the end of a pre-inauguration welcome party for incoming U.S. president Donald Trump on Thursday, three letters that looked suspiciously like "USR" burst into the sky.

CNN host Brian Stelter captured the spectacle above the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C.

We're under the impression that the letters were intended to spell out "USA." But people will no doubt be convinced that the light show was hacked by the Russians, just as speculation swirled last week when Washington media feeds and the Capitol building experienced some weird glitches.

Pics of small crowds, and any and all flubs will abound.

If you can't stand even to laugh at the proceedings (which I do understand), don't click play on the videos. If it appears to be a funny pic, e.g. Trump's crowds vs. Obama's, then don't click the thread at all. Or, as a last resort, trash the word 'Trump' until you want to see it again.

Peace.

of his fraudulent coronation is being posted on a site like DU. Ratings is Trump's life blood. Couldn't disagree with you more.

I do respect what you're saying, and I understand where you're coming from. I really do!

I'm just trying to point out that while we're all distraught here, some of us manage our stresses differently. Take me for example, I can't watch the events on TV. I can't deal with it emotionally at this moment, but here, where I have control over what I see I can click and laugh, or vent, with similar minded people. It helps me get through this whole nightmare.

Others here have their feet under them better than I do right now and can watch it, which is leaped and bounds beyond where I'm at currently. Still others aren't ready for even some laughter at Trump's expense yet. We're all handling this the right way for ourselves, even if we're doing it differently.

What I'm saying is, we don't all see things the exact same way, neither do we all deal with our emotions the exact same way. That's what makes us uniquely "us" and not like everyone else. All we can do is try and relate to each other, and understand we're not all clones. Which is a good thing.

Also, DU mocking Trump has zero effect on his ego, or ratings. At least right now it doesn't As of right now we can enjoy a brief moment of peace before he destroys that bit of amnesty we have.

I think the General Discussion forum is going to be a hearty mix of lamentations, and serious mocking of the proceedings, for the next few days...

First of mannnny mistakes to come.

I noticed the 9 year old son is not there. I read some articles mentioning he might have autism. Melania does not too happy.
