(58,724 posts)And tell the border agent the reason you are going there is to protest the government, wouldn't you have a problem getting in to most places?
Try that going into Canada and see how far you get.
Spoiler: Not far.

(34,296 posts)is very clear to me.
Of course all of the free world lets you in even if you want to protest their government...it is like talking to 9 yr olds sometimes.
You mentioned the comments, the one i saw was about snowflakes. The sad fact is the snowflakes is who these idiots will come running to any day now when they realize the harm Trump and company have in store for them

(65,616 posts)They are working hard on it. We've all known they've had a general hatred for people and democracy as a whole. Now they will be able to do huge damage.

(34,296 posts)to be backed up by WH if they want to do harm to us while dealing with us.
It was veiled but that is what it meant. Democracy is over, but that is what most of the republicans want, they want a strong man telling them what to do, this has been their MO for decades.

(65,616 posts)I agree, republicans liked being ruled over by a strong man. They have no idea what real democracy is and that is why they undermine it all the time.

(23,803 posts)Greetings,
As an American, I value our relationship with our brothers and sisters to the North. That is why I am horrified to hear that, in an effort to suppress Canadian support for the women's march on Washington, law abiding Canadians have been denied entry into the United States.
Reference the following article from the Toronto Star.
https://www.thestar.com/news/canada/2017/01/21/canadians-headed-to-womens-march-turned-away-at-us-border.html
I fear for the future of the relationship between our nations if such transgressions go without a response. If I were in your shoes, I would lodge a protest with the US State Department.
Thank you for your time,
