Women Senators and House Reps on stage now - Harris of CA speaking first

It took a minute to figure out who they all were and then it dawned on me that they were women of Congress. Nice!

I'm glad they are getting a shot of strength and purpose and recognition for this. Just wish DWS didn't take a prominent position near the mike. I hope she is not going to speak.

I wonder how many women in attendance care about such a trivility that bugs a poster on a forum. Maybe they should be told all about why she should attend in a sort of purity pecking order, if you will. Despite being duely elected in her southern district.

Sorry I dropped off the news after the election. It took a month for me to find out Stephanie Murphy won. And I donated to her. She is my new congress critter. But way cool on Val winning!!

I get to meet my new rep Wednesday night!!
