speak. It seems like the ratio is about 20 speaking women for every 1 speaking man, but I guess that's not a high enough ratio for some.

And to be frank, if you think my post is about Michael Moore's gender rather than his message, perhaps you don't understand the problem either.

But feel free to rip me..I'm one of "our own" as well, but I'm a woman.

It isn't necessary to only say things no one will disagree with or object to or be accused of "mansplaining". He focused on a few basic ideas to spur people to concrete effective action if carried out in sufficient numbers

[confess I myself am not big on calling Congresspeople -- my senators Markey & Warren will generally vote the right way anyway] but fail to see specifically what OP found objectionable in its content -- stating in another comment that issue wasn't Moore's gender

It was a political message endorsing one faction of Democrats over another. Men in the progressive wing should not be lecturing women and their allies concerning what "we" need to do. It's tone deaf, presumptuous, and part of the problem.
