When Trump, Spicer, Conjob, Ryan - etc - speak...I mean, lie - we are not the target audience

We can't forget that. Neither is the media. We know they lie, the media know they lie.

All they are doing is cementing support going forward from the same deplorables or gullables or whatever else thought-challenged or miserable individuals who thought that this would be good for - themselves? Certainly not the country.

Yep. They'll repeat the lies and defend the lies, and sadly - believe the lies. Solly Mack Jan 2017 #2

I think that they would like to pick off a few of the really stupid, uninformed people that may be straggling around, but I have that same sense that they are talking to keep the cult in its place. What I hope is that in the process of their ongoing lies, that the press and public start to become more and more aware of them and it isolates them. Like the boy who cried wolf, I would like to see them get eaten by the wolf one day because they go to that well once too often.

As u point out, Trump's lies are, by and large, not directed at civic-minded Americans. This are the worst kind of dog whistle politics, vile and poorly coded propaganda aimed at those deluded or hateful enough to have supported him thus far. And each time he opens his mouth, he betrays some of them enough to be repudiated by more and more conservative Republicans, whom he hoodwinked (and/or aroused) with dominance politics.

If they thought he would be good for the country, they must each, served up and betrayed each in turn, realize they were dead wrong.

On this first day It is already abundantly clear. He has no respect, no scruples, no sense of the office that he has fouled via Faustian bargains and bad deals made with other vile collaborators both domestic and abroad - including those from the Kremlin.

Is his approach compatible with the Constitution of the United States of America? It isnt..
