Actually "climate warming" is really the correct term. "Climate change" is less threatening and sounds less dangerous than warming. Warming should be used because that event is what is really happening. The Permian extinction is now viewed as a result of warming that made life nearly impossible on the planet.

Yes we have cold spells and wild winter weather. What will happen is the atmosphere will flip to where there is no winter. By the time we reach that event we will be cooked.

So much has been covered up already. If you follow weather events on a planetary scale anomalies are occurring all over the place more often.
