Ever since Bo was announced as the pick for first dog, I thought of it as Obama's first mistake. Now many mistakes have followed that bad choice on the part of President Barack Obama, but at least this one can be corrected. There has been some talk of Bo being dumped as the first dog and a new puppy chosen in his place. Why not?
Bo has proven to be a rather ineffective and weak presence as the vice president. We went from FDR's dog, Fala showing that a first dog can play an important part in a partnership with the president and have a good deal of power, to Bo going back to the traditional weak and hidden presidential dog of the past.
I bet if you asked 10 random Americans in the street, many of them wouldn't even know who Bo is, or could even name him as the current first dog. And don't get me started about him sleeping in front of the fireplace on that Christmas Card.
This dog brings nothing to the table as ....
(Note to self: Find out the name of Hilary's dog before posting)

Whomever was in charge of watching him that day, made a fatal error ...fatal for Buddy and no doubt traumatizing for that person who could not stop in time.
Labs are rambunctious bounders, who are very much like a perpetual 3 yr old..must be watched at all times, and protected from their own boisterous nature

There were mentions that Biden was going to get a second dog that would be a rescue dog, but I found no pictures of any dog since the 2009 pic of Champ.

Hillary's dog will probably out-fund-raise Bo, but then we would have to put with Hillary's personality -- and her many corporate donors.
So, I'd rather stick with Bo even if he isn't an effective fundraiser.
