Here's a message major US Cities should send to Trump,

when he schedules a visit to those cities:

Donald Trump
President of the United States
White House
Washington, DC

My Dear Mr. President:

With regard to your announced visit to our city, we regret to inform you that, due to cuts in federal support to this city, we will be unable to field law enforcement personnel to provide security for your visit. Our current budget also does not allow for blocking streets or controlling traffic during your visit. We regret our inability to provide these protections and hope we will be able to resume such services when funding is restored.

You are, of course, welcome to visit our city, as are all people, regardless of race, creed, sexual orientation or nation of birth. We hope you enjoy your visit. While you are here, please observe our traffic and parking regulations and inform your entourage that they must do the same.

As for your request to meet with the Mayor and other city officials, we regret that we have other engagements on that day and will be unable to meet with you.

Sincerly,

The Mayor
