A Mandatory Civics Class Should Be Required for All in

the Trump Administration. They all, including The Donald, are in dire need of some basic understanding of the Constitution and the organization and roles of all three branches of government.

Now, they may have nodded off in their High School Civics classes, but that's something that can be corrected.

Personally, I think a refresher course should also be a requirement for all Republican congressional representatives and Senators. There's a shortage of understanding of constitutional matters there, too.

The class should also be televised on all networks and cable channels, so that "The American People" can see how deficient their leaders are, and so the public could also learn some of this information.

...resent that the Constitution doesn't make the interests of people who look like them (ie: white males) supreme and inviolable.

They're angling really hard to alter all of that. Any effort which bumps up against our democratic system of government is met by the right-wing with calls for 'revolution' and support of autocratic government. This, despite their insistence they're following some notion of 'original intent.'

Most of them actually know better, they just don't care.

I agree with any effort to educate, though.

That wouldn't work out very well.
