Don't get too complacent about trump backing down when opposed on an issue. Remember

your history. Queen Elizabeth had her cousin Mary Queen of Scots in prison and didn't know what to do with her. One leader wasn't supposed to do away with another.

According to the story, her aides in government slipped in a paper with Mary's execution in it along with a lot of other directives she had to sign and signed them apparently without reading them.
Mary lost her head over it.

While we aren't looking I fully expect Bannon etal to do the same thing with something trump wants and uses the same excuse when outrage ensues.

edited for bad grammar.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?

This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.

Tell me more...
