Because of you I signed up for a monthly donation of $25 to Planned Parenthood and $25 to the ACLU monthly. I added a $25 to St. Jude monthly also.

I was not engaged much before the election, but I sure the hell are now!!!

Even thought the WWII quote about Pearl Harbor is not legit, it still applies here......

I hope the asshole, Mr. Trump (not 'President Trump') is thinking this right now......

I think a lot of people are waking up or at least stopping themselves from hitting the snooze button. This is the year of the rooster!

I find I am commenting more and more on threads, but I don't go to many places where folks don't have my outlook.

Even though I am not working, my husband and I got an idea of what our tax return will be this year and there are plenty of places in our home or cars that could use updating, we decided to make a donation to the ACLU and the Freedom from Religion Foundation this year.

I did my taxes two days ago and was looking them over today before I send them out. I'm getting a refund on federal but not that much - about $300 and decided what the hell. I didn't think I would get a refund this year so wasn't counting on it. So, I'm donating the refund to ACLU. BUT, I will be including a note with my tax form stating what I will be doing with the refund. I have no idea who will read the note, if anyone, but it makes me feel good.

20. Yes. We must all do more to protect ourselves from STD's.

The alarming rate at which STD's have risen just since 1/20/17 is over 500 percentile. These STD's have had devastating consequences already for citizens, immigrants and the newly insured may face dire consequences if widespread public action is not taken to curb the spread and instigation of STD's. Even Mexico's Enrique Nieto has cancelled his trip in the wake of the uptick in STD's. Now that access to sex educational and health access materials may soon be curtailed by yet another STD, problems will continue to rise. Oddly enough, evangelicals are fully behind many of the STD's, as are many of the most deplorable of racists and xenophobes.
Oh. Did you think we were discussing sexually transmitted diseases here? Apologies.
The new acronym STD stands for Stupid Trump Decisions.
