Bought my 86 year old mom Foyles War on DVD for Christmas a few years ago. She has all 7? Years. I remember the episode you speak of.

Before I bought it on a cyber Monday got the 6 years for like $9.99
Always get her DVDs because she doesn't do a whole lot of other stuff
She liked it so much I had to find the 7th year. She also liked another PBS it was about 2 gardeners women and murders they would solve it was Rosemary & something

My husband and I love Foyle. And even though it's a procedural/murder mystery, we enjoy watching the show more than once. If we wait long enough, at least one of us even forgets whodunnit.
