I think he is smart enough to work the media against Bannon's counter media attacks. If the stories are true that he is feeling marginalized - because of his Jewish Faith AND with Bannon's Neo-Nazi leadership and following, he could make a counter play. He also is capable of carrying a grudge: case in point Chris Christie. I wouldn't underestimate his intelligence or his abilities to manipulate his father in-law if I were Bannon.

This is not politics gone horribly awry. This is enemy action, with the aim of bringing about the American Apocalypse. The sooner we recognize that fact, the sooner we will be able to take realistic measures to stop it. We are virtually out of time.

Bannon has to be removed, and he will not go voluntarily. I don't think there is any way to make Trump fire him. Trump will also protect him against legal action. So that basically leaves only the physical option.
