Reading Trump's (no doubt Bannon's) religious agenda is nothing short of horrifying.
Not only does he want to end the rule prohibiting churches from publicly supporting candidates and preaching politics...

...he also wants to allow churches to discriminate at will.

These actions, along with the history of rhetoric from Bannon and the new KKK ("alt-right" , leave little question that they are literally trying to foment a race/religious civil war.
On a broader scale, its likely that their most desired end game is to team up with the growing hard right in Europe and Russia and start WWIII, the ultimate final battle between white Christians and the Muslim world.
The idea these guys are actually in the White House is terrifying. I have no doubt that these guys could be every bit as evil as Hitler if they aren't stopped.

He recently attended a church service with Melania (while she was still in town) and reputedly he had to follow the words in the church bulletin to say the Lord's Prayer. Anyone with ANY background in Christianity, even just going to Sunday School a few times as a kid, knows the Lord's Prayer.
