They are slowly killing Obamacare (ACA)

The GOP strategy for eliminating the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA, Obamacare) appears to be revealing itself.

A "death by a thousand cuts".

This way they can kill it it piece by piece thus hoping no one notices their fingerprints on the body. Republicans are working on funding sources in order to shut them down and starve the ACA regulations. When the ACA can't afford to go on any longer they'll blame it on the ACA itself as the reason rather than steps they've taken. Rather than take responsibility.

This is the cowards' way. This is how cowards that don't want to face their angry constituents back home act. Rather than a headline grabbing full repeal they are trying to do the same via backchannel methods.

3. And the clueless, the fact free GOP base, the base that has benefitted the most from the ACA,

will never connect the dots on this. When, not if, but when they lose their access to healthcare, they will indeed blame Obama. And the GOP Southern and Western strongholds will suffer the most.

5. Our only hope is that some moderate Repugs

will not agree to cut Medicaid and will thus kill repeal

6. I have heard of these moderate Republicans.

But I have not seen one in recent years. Are they an endangered species?

7. From states like Arkansas where the populace is dependent

on Medicaid.

They'll get killed in the midterms if they gut it

8. Which begs the question of why a Medicaid dependent populace would support the GOP.

If nothing else, this shows the need for better funded public education.
