That's something like 35 degrees above average.
Lots of people are thinking that's great. Until someone asks them if they can imagine July in MN at 35 degrees above normal which would put us around 118 degrees.
Now will a strict 35 degree bump hold true? Probably not but it could likely float plus or minus.

(3,108 posts)I see brown grass all around me. I am leaving early today to enjoy it. But I am concerned about whether or not there is enough moisture in the ground. I am also concerned about how our summer is going to be.

(27,801 posts)And if the forecast holds true, we should be in the mid to upper 50's until next weekend. Our average high is 33.
I am going to go out, tomorrow, and pick up limb debris to rebuild my kindling supply. I have little doubt there is likely at least one more big snow storm in our future. I can remember being buried in snow, in April.

Climate change. Clearly.

(3,369 posts)We'll usually have the stray warm February day where it is this warm but never a week straight. Although I guess it makes up for the winters of 2 and 3 years ago which were bitterly cold and well below average for very long stretches.

Wow, Republicans, it's a good thing there is no global warming. Otherwise I might start to get worried.

(3,210 posts)My grandsons and a neighbors granddaughter are all off school today and they are LOVING it! I am enjoying not using so much propane. But it hurts to know the reason why.
