They believe what they want or just don't give a shit. They like him because he's rude, Crude, borish, not fact based and ignorant...like most of them.

Repubs in Congress may not ignore it though. I have to believe there are a few patriots among the Repubs. We know of 4, maybe 5, but maybe there are more. We need a few more. If he were impeached, unlikely given the numbers in the House, we would need 67 senators to convict him, Basically 19 or 20 of the Repubs, since we are short, and thats assuming all Dems voted to convict. Of course, it depends on whether their constituents will reelect them...determines most of their votes.

There's still no way to run a new and fair election to make up for those in congress, senate, presidency and governorships that wouldn't be if it weren't for this tragedy that now even the GOP wants to chastise.
Aren't we all so glad the Repubs are slowly coming to their senses? NO! They are still doing what they planned from the beginning. Now they want to gain sympathy while we're still mezorized by the swinging orange pendulum.

You don't fail to get out in front of obvious treason unless you want to go down in the deluge. Congress, the media and even the Gov of Ohio are getting in front of things, waiting for the word to come down that it's true, it's confirmed...and that Trump's presidency is toast.

They won't vote to impeach him, in my opinion, because at least a fourth of them have also received tainted Russian money or are involved in this cover-up in some way. McConnell, Rubio, and Walker had PACs that received a combined $4 million in Russian-tainted funds. Even people like Ted Cruz have received $$$ from Russian-linked entities.

They won't vote to expose themselves. That's why they continue to contort themselves to justify Trump's insane proclamations (EOs). That's why they excuse his mental meltdown of a press conference as Trump "being Trump."

I'm actually wondering if Trump himself has been poisoned or had his mind altered by Russian-backed agents. What we're chalking up to Alzheimer's or age could be something else entirely...

We're likely going to have to flip Congress during the 2018 midterms. I do believe we can take back the House and if we secure the House we will be able to impeach Trump. And if he gets impeached, the Senate will be compelled to convict, at that point.
