I'm growing hopeful that SCOTUS will strike down DOMA and Prop 8.

They upheld the ACA, said the First Amendment allows one to lie about military honors and struck down mandatory life for minors. I'm now hopeful that Roberts could be our deciding vote to strke down DOMA and Prop 8.

Roberts was protecting insurance companies that will profit from ACA. Don't expect a principled stand on marriage equality from this man, except maybe the principle that God didn't make Adam and Steve (although, of course, God actually did make Adam and Steve--but then again conservative Christians have always clung to the theology of Convenient Justification of their own prejudices).
