Trump administration hints at crackdown on recreational pot!

http://nypost.com/2017/02/23/trump-administration-hints-at-crackdown-on-recreational-pot/?utm_campaign=SocialFlow&utm_source=NYPTwitter&utm_medium=SocialFlow&sr_share=twitter

States and localities that have approved recreational pot smoking can expect “greater enforcement” under the Trump administration, White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer said Thursday.

President Trump understands how medical marijuana can alleviate “pain and suffering” for sick patients, but recreational pot smoking is “the last thing” the federal government should be enabling, he said.

“There’s a big difference between that and recreational marijuana and I think that when you see something like the opioid addiction crisis blossoming in so many states across this country, the last thing we should be doing is encouraging people,” Spicer said.

“There is still a federal law that we need to abide by.”

I'm thinkin he's gonna have a BIG BATTLE on his hands with this plan. Especially with those State who have already enjoyed all that nice tax money .in their treasury!

pot takes the place of opiate use. My sis weaned herself off prescribed morphine when she crossed the border from Idaho to Wash state to obtain legal pot.

But it's time for congress to step up and fix this once and for all. In case Trumptown hasn't noticed, a lot of their otherwise erstwhile "allies" support leaving the states alone on this.
