Black History Month *funny* at work

At our morning meeting one of my coworkers had an announcement.
"It is Black History Month and we haven't discussed it much...". She highlighted the story of Matthew Henson on the Peary expedition to the North Pole.

When she finished she added, "Oh and in case anyone was uncertain Frederick Douglass is no longer alive"

Most of the room absolutely cracked up

About an hour later she had a question about travel expenses. After I provided the answer I asked, "Frederick Douglass. If he was alive, you'd know him right?"

She fell out laughing and said, "Yes, of course. I could even set up a meeting for you"
