Friday and no shoes to drop?

Very peculiar situation here. I'm used to there being a shoe suspended in mid-air over the weekend, waiting to drop on Monday. What gives?

That someone put him in a straight jacket, took him to a padded cell, and pumped him with medication might be a shoe. A pornographic video, rape, accepting bribes, confession of treason, tax evasion, strange behavior in public, perjury, fits of anger, just all seem not that big of a deal anymore.
