...And the neat part was when he used a dead guy's wife to make himself look good

Didn't anyone point out that the guy was only dead because of Cheetolini's incompetence and obsessive need for personal aggrandizement?

As if he ever cared about those people. A botched raid and he blamed others, a heroic death and he seeks the credit.

Anyone who refuses to see what he's doing is willfully blind.

FDT.

No one reached out to her, to give her the comfort of human contact, they were too busy blindly clapping for every sound that came out of Orange Hitler's mouth hole.

In the photos I've seen, she was clearly beyond distraught and none of them thought to put a hand on her shoulder or an arm around her. I suppose, her pain was just a plot point for their reality show.

Because they are human beings, not automatons whose only job is to stroke Agent Orange's ego.

Oh, and if Obama or Clinton were president, her husband would very likely not be dead or he wouldn't have been leveraged for applause.

As a widow, I absolutely will not judge whether or not she should be there. She should be wherever she wants to be.

And she deserves to be completely supported, not left standing alone. That hurt me more than anything.

And then, him evaluating the situation as if it were a ratings contest. How cruel, how cheap, how inappropriate.

and marvel about how they would've reacted to Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, or anybody on the Democratic side had done 1/10th of what Trump has done while in office so far. There would probably be about 14 simultaneous investigations launched by Republicans over this with Hillary or Barack in office and I dare any Republicans to prove me wrong.

having even the appearance of impropriety would have been under investigation...or with no appearance of impropriety...with nothing to see, just having that "D" after their name is enough for them to start investigations.

Dems would never have let anyone who was truly corrupt get so far in the process.

None of them can make any claim to patriotism or love of country ever again. They have proven, time and again, in this short time that they love power more than anything else.

Wow, my level of anger has only increased since the election...I hope others are also staying angry, because the only chance we have is to harness that anger and drive them out of office.

My husband is a 21 yr AF vet, and I was active duty for 4 and reserves for 8, so I've seen plenty of senior officers with with lots of medals and ribbons, and most of the harsher regimes around the planet seem to favor very gaudy uniforms, but this did seem waaaaaaaaaaaay over the top.

but totally flabbergasted when reading about this hypocrisy this morning. I agree, why would Ms. Owen allow herself to be used for such propaganda reasons to make the boy-potus puppet of prezidents bannon and miller look "presidential"? Presidential my left foot, this front man puppet POS is a disaster waiting to endanger the whole goddamn world. PEOPLE WANT TO BE FOOLED. The media wetting themselves in groveling adoration of the coward-in-chief. The undercurrent of ameriKKKan hypocrisy has always been on display to the world...now it is undercurrent no more. It is the moving force behind an open hypocrisy.

I hope more of the culpability of this orange puppet in slaughtering this SEAL and the over a hundred babies, women and children comes out, but of course it won't. I saw the face of one general, I wondered immediately how close this whole SOU speech resembled the Nazi POS in any speech he made pre-war 1933 Germany. she was beyond foolish to have allowed Trump's people to make her a spectacle last night. Her FIL was smart enough to recognize what Trump was and to speak out against him. At some point it will sink into her what she allowed them to do to her and her grief will not be lessened. It is too bad that she didn't have enough courage to walk out on them while they kept the cameras on her way too long.

It is too bad that she didn't have a folded up flag in her purse that she could have unfurled. The flag could have said - TRUMP KILLED MY HUSBAND (or something like that).

As someone who has suffered the loss of my son I can tell you that she's in shocked grief and can barely function in this world right now. And it's obvious that she isn't anywhere near the stage of grief when anger happens. Her father in law has gone straight to that stage and no one can blame him.

But comments about how she allowed herself to be used are so out of line that they're downright cruel and offensive.

Apparently Trump's chumps have been instructed to express outrage because Dems didn't stand or applaud sufficiently when Herr Trump referred to the put her on camera. At least, that's what I infer from the sheer number of nearly identical poutrage postings I've seen.

So I replied with: Everyone is ok with Herr Trump exploiting the widow of the man he killed? Imagine if Hillary had tried such an obvious stunt.
