How are you spending this Friday?

I'm watching clips from All the President's Men.

When Watergate happened I was way to young to understand or care about it.

Our current situation sure feels like this clip to me.

3. Mr. Femmedem and I watched All the President's Men last week.

Today, unfortunately, I am waiting to hear how my cat does in surgery for urethral obstruction. Worried about him, especially because they also told me he has a stage 4 heart murmur, too. Almost put him down today, since the surgery costs about 15% of my annual income.

Other than that, working on an editing job. And procrastinating on DU. Might throw in a little stress eating to round out the day.

4. like every friday since Nov. 9 2017

wondering what new outrage the nazis in the WH are planning in the way of racist, sexist, homophobic, educational, xenophobic insults/attacks to and on the dignity and sensibilities of decent american people and how to openly keep resisting these insults. I saw "I Am Not Your Negro' last evening, fired me up with the historical parallels in that film with today's racist culture in ameriKKKa. We have gone back 50-70 years in race relations in this country. Along with that relation, every other relation is under attack by racist, white male KKKristians, who want to make ameriKKKa white again.

5. All I really remember is how obsessed my Mom was with the hearings...

While there were lots of complaints about them preempting all the soaps, she was riveted... I think she had a thing for Howard Baker---lol

6. Visiting my Republican Congressman's office in Morristown, NJ

I'd like to record my concern with Russian meddling in person and ask him to join the call for an independent special prosecutor.

Fat chance, but the sun is shining and I appreciate the fresh air while we wait outside to be let into the building.

7. Apparently on DU!

Then I'll do a little work in my office, and spend the rest of the day pulling weeds in my garden and getting it ready to plant.

8. Neek and I (I'm her geek) spent the rest of Friday going to antique shops.

It was a lot more fun than reading about the political circus.
