Nobody has told them that Donald Trump and the Republicans are kicking our asses.

They hold all 3 branches of government and elected Donald Trump as President.

but there is nothing wrong (or illiberal) with using the courts to push back against honest-to-god defamation.

Right-wingers will continue to spread lies and slander against Democrats so long as Democrats fail to fight back.

I greatly admire President Obama, but one of his biggest failings was his dogged belief that the American people would somehow see through all the lies and machinations of the right-wing. Now, we can all see what that got us.
