General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsI just learned that Kellyanne Conway's middle name is Elizabeth.
Perhaps we should refer to her as "Lizzie" from now on. It has a nice ring to it. It's reminiscent of the Model T Ford, often referred to as the "Tin Lizzie." It also revokes a reptilian sense, which is certainly applicable to our dear under-biting spokes persona.
"Lizzie Conway appeared before news cameras today and uttered her usual inanities..." Rolls right off the tongue, I think.
And then there's Lizzie Borden. What of that connection?

I say it is a big problem still. That these people in question simply dont want to hear how a 2 party system works.

(1,990 posts)We shouldn't make fun of people because of their names. We have lots of good grounds for ridicule already.

(37,748 posts)Yeah... that's the ticket. We accurately illustrate our mastery and command of policy and debate by half-witted name-calling (or, should that seem severe, we'll refer to it as 'fully-witted name-calling').
A good follow-up would be rationalizing this petulance as both sophistication and critical thought.
