Of course it is not every white male, and very few of whom frequent DU. But demographics speak for themselves. White males, especially under educated white males, voted for Trump in large numbers. This fact is not racist.

The larger problem is that a large majority of white Americans want to pretend racism doesn't impact the lives of non-whites. The use of psychological gambits of denial, finger pointing, wasn't me specifically, it happened a long time ago, they are racist too, there is no white privilege, playing the race card, etc. are all designed to damage the argument that racism is alive and well and represented quite vigorously in our government and institutions.
