Is the GOP Health Care Plan Designed to Die?

https://politicalwire.com/2017/03/10/gop-health-care-plan-designed-die/

"SNIP............

Ezra Klein: “Quietly, the idea that the House bill is designed to fail is percolating around Washington. I’ve heard it from a half-dozen people now. The law’s construction is shoddy. The outreach has been nonexistent. The hypocritical, hyper-accelerated process is baffling. Nothing about it makes sense.”

“But if you flip the intention — if you assume Republican leaders want to see a repeal-and-replace bill die in the Senate so they can say they tried and move on to tax reform — all of a sudden, it makes much more sense. It explains why more time wasn’t spent getting the bill right. It explains why they’re going so fast. It explains why they don’t care what the Congressional Budget Office says. It explains why they aren’t doing the outreach that would normally buffer them from this backlash.”

Executive Order. It wasn't really on a 'death spiral" before, but it will be now. So, as he says, if this doesn't pass, they can just wait a couple years to kill it off.

Where is it saying that this can't go through, they're almost there and a lot of the resistance is play acting to get a few token changes.

a rule were this POS will be presented via a voice vote, and if that goes down, they have 51 votes with Pence casting the tie breaker. This is all about the trashing of the Heritage Foundations own Legislation. Follow Ryan's comments.

couple days back. Understand he was a Republican Staffer in the Senate when Medicare was expanded. His comments were to the effect that he led the opposition to any increase of the Population Coverage because his Political Opinion(Libertarian)was and is,if you can't afford Insurance, tough Shit,it ain't my Fault.

I agree with your take that this dumpster fire is closer to getting done than some might think, as well as the nod your point that ACA was THEIR fin form of health care reform, which has been going on an 8 year spur up my ass how these MFers have run again their form of HCR and the public is flat stupid enough to not just simply call them out for it, but to actually hand them congress for doing it.

All they have to do is send out a few checks. Remember . . . we have the best government money can buy.

The people of this country are.

They got here, to having full control of government by making shit up as they go along and just bullying their way past what the country actually wants. Because the country NEVER holds them accoubtable.

This dumpster fire is proceeding as normal for them.

The republican vision for America is basically slavery for all but the rich. Getting rid of health insurance for all but the elite is their actual goal. Get sick? You better be prepared to sign over yours and your families future earnings to get treatment.

They want working people to owe more money than they can pay back. It makes for good slaves to earn for the rich.

Look no further than Right Wing Aspen Dental to see the future of health care. Outrageous prices, insane interest rates in mandatory financing, and sub standard and unnecessary (but profitable) procedures.

And the Reps have been dying to exempt medical bills from Bankruptcy for years. They'll get that too and then they'll start working on going after your children for the debt you owe.
