not that I wanted to, but he made daily press calls and some of his stuff got printed.

His modus operandi was to say something ridiculous enough to get noticed, but it would be forgotten in a day or two. Note that's what kinda happened with with the birther nonsense.

He hasn't fully realized that now that he's in the chair, people don't forget so fast.
