What the hell did paid propagandist Kellyanne say? Was it cameras inside the microwaves or microwaves could be turned in to camera?

3. No, but printers do. Copiers are so pre-computers. Most are printers now.

And they are very good spying devices, so don't expect privavy if using one is a public facility. Their wires might be tappped.

I suppose if it's a networked copier it might be tapped somehow... but these printers also have hard drives which have copies of all recent documents... and they might never be wiped.

At a warehouse in New Jersey, 6,000 used copy machines sit ready to be sold. CBS News chief investigative correspondent Armen Keteyian reports almost every one of them holds a secret.

Nearly every digital copier built since 2002 contains a hard drive - like the one on your personal computer - storing an image of every document copied, scanned, or emailed by the machine.

away a file version of everything that was "photocopied" by the machine. The establishment can have a copy of every doc go to a computer or other storage device.

So, if you know the printer, you can probably figure out who made the print-out. Similar to a disk or thumb drive - or emailed files. No matter how you spoof it, there are still traces to an actual device.

5. Yellow Dots of Mystery: Is Your Printer Spying on You? by EFForg in computers

"Imagine that every time you print a document, it automatically includes a secret code that could be used to identify the printer -- and, potentially, the person who used it. Sounds like something from a spy movie, right"
