Today was 1st day I cried from something other than despondency since Nov 8th!

I don't know what is going to come from the Russian hearings or how soon any action will happen once the dots are all eventually connected. But today was the first day I felt like there was actually some hope. Rethugs are going to try and hinder, distract and deflect in all manners of ways. But once the shit hits the fan, even they won't be able to stop it. I cried at Schiff's opening remarks, out of pure relief, just because I felt like all the things we've all been talking about for months are finally getting out there into the open. And I don't feel so crazy.

Then after spending all those hours watching the hearings, I got on the fax and started contacting committee members. I do this lots anyways regarding all kinds of issues, but today I actually felt good while doing it. Most other days, if I'm not spitting mad about something or other, I'm despondent at best. I know it's early, and I honestly have no idea who is going to get caught in this net (although I have hopes it goes all the way to the damn top), but man....I feel better today than I have in months.

I faxed all the Dems on the committee and said "thank you" for today's hearing. Thank you for looking out for all of us. Here's a list of them if anyone else wants to contact them:
Adam Schiff (202) 225-5828
Jim Himes (202) 225-9629
Terri Sewell (202) 226-9567
André Carson 202-225-5633
Jackie Speier (202) 226-4183
Mike Quigley (202) 225-5603
Eric Swalwell - left message, they don't have a fax I could find (202) 225-5065
Joaquin Castro 202-225-1915
Denny Heck 202-225-0129

Then I faxed all the thugs and said, among other things depending on who I faxed "do your job...country before party". Here they are if you want to too:
Devin Nunes (202) 225-3404
Mike Conaway (202) 225-1783
Peter King (202) 226-2279
Frank LoBiondo (202) 225-3318
Rick Crawford (202) 225-5602
Trey Gowdy (202) 226-1177
Tom Rooney (202) 225-3132
Will Hurd (202) 225-2237
Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (202) 225-5620
Mike Turner (202) 225-6754
Brad Wenstrup (202) 225-1992
Chris Stewart 801-364-5551
Elise Stefanik (518) 743-1391

(On my fax to Nunes I added that he should do the ethical thing and remove himself from this investigation and anything else having to do with any investigation of Trump considering his involvement in the campaign, but that's just my opinion.)

In the words of the veritable Ice Cube...It was a Good Day!!!

FBI Director Comey moved suddenly during the early morning on Monday to arrest what he called "the criminal and treasonous Trump family and close associates in the Trump administration and his businesses." Also released was an announcement of an international warrant for the arrest of Russian criminals who are named in a sealed indictment.

Dir. Comey praised former Sec. Hillary Clinton for performing a patriotic service beyond becoming president. Prior to the election in 2016, he met with Clinton to ask for her help. He needed more time for the FBI to complete its investigation of the interaction of the Trump Campaign and Russia's Putin. No mention of the investigation would be made prior to the election. Clinton agreed, saying that she was certain of her victory. Unfortunately, she risked her presidency and lost. After the election, in a secret meeting with Dir. Comey, she said "it's worth it, if you nail Traitor Don."

The ripples of the arrests are likely to crash the Trump and Putin empires. In addition, many ...
