The Republicans have bet the farm on Trump

Regardless of anything else, after the abhorrent behavior of Republicans in the hearings yesterday, there is no other conclusion to be made other than the Republicans have bet the farm on Trump.

They now own EVERYTHING he has ever done or ever will do.

"Republican" and "Trump" are now synonymous terms.

The next time I hear any Republican say anything about "Family Values", my only response will be "Trump".

The next time any Republican says anything about "National Security", my only response will be "Trump".

THEY OWN IT!

They are owned by forces that demand they behave exactly as they are: wasting our time with circuses to distract us while their owners steal the Treasury.

by Comey's declaration about the ongoing investigation. I think they were prepared for him not to comment on it, not declare unequivocally that there was one, AND that the Trump campaign was part of it. They were NOT prepared for that.

Then they said, "Hey, close the door will you?" That's about how they chose Trump as their leader.

There IS no leader. No one is in charge. No one placed bets. They just looked around like stupid goats until one of them by happenstance wandered to the head of the pack.

Bunch of chicken-shit cowardly criminals. The republican party turning a blind eye to Traitor Trump's criminal kleptocracy, because they're too busy stuffing their own pockets with tax payer money and writing self-dealing legislation.

History, waves of light, social patterns, clouds in the sky all ebb and flow, never to be the same but always similar just as when a mother gives birth. The attachment we have found for any of them is the only thing we must decern. What will be different in them, and are we just watching waves crashing on the beach or is there something to learn?

because they thought he was an insurgent candidate who would smash the Republican establishment and radically alter the status quo. They got what they wanted. And they are also going to get it in ways they don't want.

As shitty as his poll numbers are, Americans still favor him more than the Republican Congress.

If Trump's chumps haven't seen the light by now, then they never will, and we should stop wasting effort in trying to open their eyes.

As Trump himself noted (in one of the few honest statements he's made in the past seven decades), he could shoot someone in the street and they'd still vote for him.

He is their irreproachable father figure, their beloved leader, and if he does something that conflicts with fact or laws or morals, then obviously your facts, laws and morals are false.
