I wonder if the feds have been investigating Russian operatives in the

USA over decades and will be able to tie a vast network to the Trump's? I mean it could very well have been going on before Trump was on Putin's radar as a way to get back at Hillary two years ago. Russian corrupting the USA probably didn't just get invented two years ago.

Breaking AP story today explains how Manafort wrote statement proposing a massive plan to promote Putin, not just in Ukraine and Montenegro but also in US and began getting $10 million a year from Putin's closest billionaire associate

I have been posting for several weeks about how Stone, Manafort and their partner Rick Davis tried to get McCain to become a pro-Putin puppet during the 2008 campaign (even wined and dined him and his wife on their anniversary on an Adriatic Sea cruise- to soften McCain up) until in 2007 McCain rejected their overtures and fired Rick Davis who had been his campaign manager.
Romney was too strongly anti-Russia for him to be corruptible for 2012 election, but Trump was ideal Putin puppet candidate for 2016

Comey - not that I fully trust him - did say that he and Gen. Rodgers answered the questions about hacking state election with "No" wasn't be cause there wasn't any per se. He made a point to say that they answered that way because it wasn't what they were looking at and they never investigated that issue. So there's another investigation that needs to get rolling.
