Is the House Intel Committee dead?

Was it compromised so badly by Nunes that it can no longer continue to investigate?

Or should it continue to call in witnesses to testify in public forum?

Since they now know the loyalties of Nunes, can they work around him if he is not replaced?

If it was just some scandalous thing like Jared talking business on a government phone, for example. But why Nunes would have a press briefing and drop all kinds of cryptic hints is very strange. I guess he's trying to give Trump cover for his wiretapping claim, but at what cost? The press will find out what he is talking about and it better be very minor for this to have been worth it for him.

It just occurred to me. what if whatever Nunes saw was someone leaking to the press? That would be a double- whammy for Trump- vindicate the "wiretap" claim, and find a leaker. Hmmm. I would still like to know the subject matter of the conversation.

7. Doesn't matter what it was about. It was still classified information. The committee is compromised.

Next we'll find Richard Burr running to the White House over some intel.

Comey knew Nunes was a target and withheld a lot of intel from the House Intelligence Committee that was not withheld from its Senate counterpart. Obviously, just conjecture, but Nunes certainly did not acquit himself very well yesterday, and it could well be that he was fed intel yesterday implicating himself and he freaked out...just as Comey had hoped he would.
