You really should read this..and for god's sake, share it.
My favorite part is where the reporter disses Trump, who does not get the point at all:
"And then TIME magazine, which treats me horribly, but obviously I sell, I assume this is going to be a cover too, have I set the record? I guess, right? Covers, nobodys had more covers."
TIME:
"I think Richard Nixon still has you beat. But he was in office for longer, so give yourself time."
Trump:
" Ok good. Im sure Ill win."

(22,651 posts)Republicans leave him alone with his silly Aides, people like Bannon, his son in law, Kellyanne.
Trump has never been "In" the innerloop of Republican party or Washingtondc elected Republicans.

(60,010 posts)The interview shows that clearly....he brings up the election results AGAIN, and some point about Brexit,
giving himself ego strokes over and over and over.
Many people who claim to know him for years say he has always been like this, sorta, but now seems worse.
guess that is where a fast food diet leads....sad.

(9,897 posts)A massive stroke befalling that shit-gibbon is the best thing we could have right now...Pence is a horror to be sure, but the fact is he is an ideologue but not clinically insane. Pence gives me some hope that the nukes will not be used...if Trump remains in office there is no doubt in my mind that a nuclear weapon WILL be deployed to the horror of billions around the world.

(47,583 posts)There is barely a coherent sentence in that entire interview. He talks like a man backed into a corner and is fighting for his life.

He is clearly losing what mental faculties he has left. He is showing signs of dementa or something. It's sad in a way, because he doesn't seem to realize what this is doing to our country or his credibility.
Good grief...

(11,087 posts)Although he bases his reasoning often on single words. The New York Times had a story that mentioned wiretapping. Therefore, Donald Trump was right to tweet about himself being wiretapped by President Obama. No! The story was about wiretapping of a Russian official that incidentally caught Michael Flynn talking with that official. They didn't wiretap Flynn. They didn't wiretap Trump. Obama didn't request it.
Now he says Nunes' announcement that wiretaps may have incidentally caught Trump campaign staff talking with people who were wiretapped justifies his accusations against Obama.
He made up an event in Sweden, said it happened the Friday before, then claims he predicted rioting that broke out later.
I think his mind works in just flickers of consciousness. One word here, two words there. Then you put them together however you want and call it right. No subtlety, no detail, no continuity makes it into his thought process.
Somewhere deep down, though, he does register awareness that other people laugh at him. We gotta do lots more laughing.
