I picked up my completed taxes, today.

For what I fear may be the last time, I am getting money back from the feds. But I’ll be send that refund, and considerably more, on to the State of Michigan because apparently SOMEBODY has to be responsible for paying the Governor’s legal bills since dealing with the legal and political consequences of poisoning and killing people, along with those pesky pay offs and kick backs to political cronies, is expensive.

From the conditions of the roads I was just traveling on, and the freeway overpasses I drove under, I know none of this money is going towards infrastructure.

but to give billionaires tax breaks and feed the war machine.

I am so late doing taxes this year--and it doesn't help that TurboTax is showing us owing a huge amount to the feds and state before
I get all our deductions itemized. Both reasons I'm avoiding doing them.

Some how they have come up with a birthday tax. For what I have to pay for plates and registration on my vehicles, I could pay my state tax and have money left over.

I'll see how the Governor's Race goes, next year. I suspect that Bill Schuette will run.

It is a beautiful state. And being a native born Flintstone should give me extra incentive to fight for my state and city of my birth! I'm in the township, now, but no less fierce a Flintstone.
