For what I fear may be the last time, I am getting money back from the feds. But Ill be send that refund, and considerably more, on to the State of Michigan because apparently SOMEBODY has to be responsible for paying the Governors legal bills since dealing with the legal and political consequences of poisoning and killing people, along with those pesky pay offs and kick backs to political cronies, is expensive.
From the conditions of the roads I was just traveling on, and the freeway overpasses I drove under, I know none of this money is going towards infrastructure.

I am so late doing taxes this year--and it doesn't help that TurboTax is showing us owing a huge amount to the feds and state before
I get all our deductions itemized. Both reasons I'm avoiding doing them.

(32,714 posts)Some how they have come up with a birthday tax. For what I have to pay for plates and registration on my vehicles, I could pay my state tax and have money left over.
