For DT and his loyal cronies, the rest of us are either defenders or enemies. Defenders are useful. They are conned. DT basks in their adulation. If you are not a defender, you are an enemy to be attacked.

DT and cronies don't do defense. They rely on their defenders for that. For DT it is just attack, attack, attack. If proven wrong, declare vindication. If defeated, declare victory. If abandoned by defenders, declare yourself beloved.
